Two Truths, Inc. wants its members to have fun when using the Two Truths App and Website, but in a safe, responsible and respectful manner. The following Community Guidelines are here to provide a few dos and don’ts when using the App.
Be respectful of others.
We're a global community of many types of people, who all have the right to feel comfortable and who may not think what you think, believe what you believe or see what you see. Two Truths is a fun way to interact with your friends and others through the internet, but it also gives people the means to insult and/or harass others without taking full responsibility for their actions. We require that you be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members when using the Two Truths App and Website.
Respect the copyright of others. This means don't steal content that other people have created and pass it off as your own.
If you see abuse, report it. Before you write anything, ask yourself if your contribution increases the strength and virtue of the Two Truths community.
Be creative, try new things, participate, find your muse, and show us how you play Two Truths!
This includes other people's content and/or stuff you've copied or collected from around the Internet. Accounts that consist primarily of such collections may be deleted at any time.
Content involving children (anyone under the age of 18) are particularly sensitive. Content containing children should never be sexually suggestive or violent. Please be cautious when posting something involving a child. Furthermore, don’t bully minors in your content or create content that encourage others to bully minors. Being a teenager is complicated enough without the anxiety, sadness, and isolation caused by bullying.
Two Truths is not for pornography or sexually explicit content. Most nudity is not allowed, particularly if it is in a sexual context. If this describes your content, don’t post it on Two Truths. Generally if a video is intended to be sexually provocative, it is less likely to be acceptable for Two Truths. The same rule applies to your profile photo(s). Accounts found sharing nudity or mature content will be disabled and your access to Two Truths may be discontinued.
Don't post content which encourage others to do things that may cause them to get hurt. Content showing such harmful and/or dangerous acts may be age-restricted or removed depending on their severity. It’s also not okay to post violent or gory content that’s primarily intended to be shocking, sensational or disrespectful. Your content should in no way cause serious harm onto yourself or others.
If we find you doing that, your account will be deleted and we'll take appropriate action, which may include reporting you to the authorities. This means not posting content that encourages or depicts someone fatally injuring a person, consuming illegal drugs, participating in illegal street racing, or committing a crime of any sort.
We don't support content that promotes or condones violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, or sexual orientation/gender identity, or whose primary purpose is inciting hatred on the basis of these core characteristics. This can be a delicate balancing act, but if the primary purpose is to attack a protected group, the content crosses the line. While it might not seem fair to say you can’t show something because of what viewers theoretically might do in response, we draw the line at content that’s intended to incite violence or encourage dangerous, illegal activities that have an inherent risk of serious physical harm or death.
If we find you engaging in commercial activity, we will warn you or delete your account. Some examples include selling products, services, or yourself through your account, using your account solely as a product catalog, or presenting product demos and tutorials.
Other People (their content, their behavior)
You will see all sorts of things on Two Truths, some of which may offend you. If you are offended by something you can either choose to ignore it or flag it by selecting the report icon that appears next to a user. If you think there's immediate cause for concern, you can also drop us a note to report content and/or someone's behavior to Two Truths staff at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you see content that you’ve created in another member’s account don't panic. This is probably just a misunderstanding and not malicious. A good first step is to contact them and politely ask them to remove it. If that doesn't work, please file a Notice of Infringement with the Two Truths Copyright Team who will take it from there.
